Day 01: Arrival NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (500Ft / 150Mts) you will be meeting the local representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). Arrive and Check in at Hotel / Similar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Gangtok
After breakfast, in the morning, we start for excursion to Tshangu Lake – situated at a height of 12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel. (In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).
Day 03: Gangtok
After breakfast we proceed for a full day sightseeing tour covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom and Flower Show. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 Gangtok – Pelling
After breakfast proceed to Pelling (6100 Ft / 1860 Mts, 116 kilometers / 05 to 06 Hrs). Arrive and Check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Pelling
After breakfast we drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs) on way visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Water fall. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Pelling - Darjeeling
After breakfast proceed to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 125 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs.).Arrive and Check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Darjeeling
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: Darjeeling
After breakfast transfer to Mirik (5800 Ft / 1768 Mts / 50 Kms / 02 Hrs one way). Full day excursion of Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border) for shopping & Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boat is available around the lake on direct payment basis). Evening back to Darjeeling and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09 Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast proceed to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs) to board the flight for Mumbai. Tour end with sweet Memories.
Tour Cost Includes:
- Accommodation on Twin sharing basis.
- All Meals.
- Food services:
Morning: Bed tea, breakfast with two hot dishes, toast, corn flakes, khakhra, butter, jam, methi sambhar, tea, coffee, milk, fresh fruit.
Lunch: Three vegetables, two sweets, two namkeen, salad, pickle, two types of breads, rice, daal or kadhi, papad, chhas.
Afternoon: Tea / coffee and light snacks (cookies, biscuits, light refreshments).
Evening dinner: Soup, starter, one namkeen, one sweet, rice, daal / kadhi, change of items from , Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Punjabi, Gujarati, South Indian & desert.
At night: Masala milk. - For passengers opting for Luxury Package the breakfast will be in the Hotel. For Lunch and Dinner they will have to come to the Deluxe Hotel.
- Luxury Package clients will have all meals at their own hotel in Lachung.
- All Transfer & Sightseeing by NON AC Tata Sumo / Similar & Except Gangtok local sightseeing by NON AC Maruti Van / Similar (04 pax in a vehicle).
- All applicable Transfers & Sightseeing by NON AC vehicle which will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). This vehicle will also change sector wise.
- All sightseeing entrance fees included.
Tour Cost does not includes:
- 2.58 % tax.
- Any airfare/ Train fare.
- Anything not specifically mentioned in Tour cost prices.
- If a clients wants Innova / Scorpio / Xylo / Tavera then Rs 2500/- per person extra (based on 6 paying pax).
NOTE:
People visiting Tsongo Lake/ Nathula Pass / North Sikkim (Lachen-Lachung) are required to send photocopy of their valid Photo ID Proof of all (Passport/Voter Card/ Driving Lenience/ Pan Card for adult and school / birth certificate for children below 18 years) with 4 copies of Passport size Photographs to our office in advance in order to arrange the necessary permits. The original copies may be required to be shown on spot and should be carried during the tour.
